“There are two kinds of people, those who do the work and those who take the credit. Try to be in the first group; there is less competition there.”

Only a few months since joining our club, one of our most influential members is leaving.

Karla arrived at the end of last year, for a professional work project in Frankfurt. Since arriving from Munich, Karla has shown exceptional commitment, as she didn’t just come as a guest, but jumped right in and joined.  She  pursued her speaking engagements, her rhetorical training,  became a leader, a mentor, and a mentee, and even competed for the club.

She has been an example that no matter how long, or short, your stay, turning up is 90% of success, and when you add commitment, support, and attention to detail on top, you exceed 100%. Karla is a real 110% performer.

All great things come to an end as Karla returns to become Area Governor of her Munich area, and so is time to say Au Revoir – until we see you again.

Best wishes on behalf of a very grateful club,
